Gracie Abrams has earned her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 as her third studio release, \u201cDaughter From Hell,\u201d debuts atop the chart dated Aug. 1<\/a>. The album generated 124,000 equivalent album units in the United States during the week ending July 23, according to Luminate, marking the singer-songwriter\u2019s strongest week by overall consumption.<\/p>\n

Reacting to the chart milestone on social media, Abrams wrote<\/a>, \u201cWhoa thank you so much this is nuts and entirely your doing!!! Thank you.\u201d The accomplishment comes as she prepares to launch her 64-date \u201cLook at My Life\u201d international arena tour later this year.<\/p>\n

The opening surpassed the performance<\/a> of Abrams\u2019 2024 album, \u201cThe Secret of Us,\u201d which debuted and peaked at No. 2 with 89,000 units. Its deluxe edition later produced \u201cThat\u2019s So True,\u201d Abrams\u2019 first top-10 single on the Billboard Hot 100. With the new achievement, Abrams became the sixth act to secure a first Billboard 200 leader in 2026.<\/p>\n

Traditional album sales accounted for 77,000 units of \u201cDaughter From Hell,\u201d while streaming contributed 46,500 units, representing approximately 47.27 million on-demand streams of the album\u2019s songs. The release was supported by multiple physical and digital editions, including several vinyl, CD and cassette variants.<\/p>\n

Abrams announced \u2018Daughter From Hell\u2019 in May and previewed it with the singles \u201cHit the Wall\u201d and \u201cLook at My Life.\u201d The 16-track project was produced by Aaron Dessner, who also worked on Abrams\u2019 previous albums, and includes contributions from Justin Vernon, Audrey Hobert and Paul Mescal, who co-wrote \u201cImaginary Friend.\u201d Stream the album: HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n
