6LACK maps out extensive global tour commemorating a decade in music

6LACK has officially revealed dates for his massive upcoming 44-city world tour. This extensive performance run comes directly on the heels of dropping his critically praised fourth studio album, Love Is The New Gangsta, which arrived last month.

The highly anticipated tour serves a dual purpose, letting the Atlanta native promote his latest body of work while honoring his ten-year milestone in the music industry. It also marks a decade since the arrival of his highly influential debut project. “Ten years is amazing. A lot of folks don’t get to say that they’ve been doing something for 10 years,” 6LACK shared during a recent discussion about his career trajectory. “That album stamped my introduction to a lot of people.” Reflecting on his long-standing relationship with his audience, the artist pointed out how deeply tied he remains to his initial material, adding, “Those songs still stand the test of time today,” and “The people who found me around that time are the people who still come to my shows now. It’s just been amazing to see how we’ve all grown.”

The performances will take fans through a broad retrospective of 6LACK’s career, providing an “intimate live experience spanning the full evolution of his catalog – spanning through FREE 6LACK and East Atlanta Love Letter to Since I Have A Lover and the next era of Love Is The New Gangsta.” Attendees can look forward to a dynamic setup featuring a live backing band. 6LACK intends to highlight his personal production talents during the concerts, explicitly stating, “I pride myself on having a really good live show,” and “I wanna kind of move around, have different stations and make it interactive show turn the show into an experience that every night is not the same.”

The global trek is scheduled to launch in Europe on September 8 at the Sentrum Scene in Oslo, Norway. From there, 6LACK will make stops across major European hubs—including Berlin, Paris, and Stockholm—before transitioning to a UK and Ireland stretch featuring dates in London, Manchester, and Dublin. Supporting him across the overseas performances will be Johnny Venus.

The North American leg of the journey begins on October 21 at McMenamins Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Oregon. This leg will hit major markets including Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, Brooklyn, and a hometown show in Atlanta, alongside Canadian stops in Toronto and Ottawa. Rapper and producer Eem Triplin is locked in as the opening act for all North American dates. The entire multi-month tour will officially wrap up on December 11 at The Fillmore Minneapolis.
