Bino Rideaux has shared the new single ‘All Summer,’ taken off the upcoming collaborative album with the late Nipsey Hussle, titled ‘Prolific,’ which is set for release on August 14.
As previously announced, ‘Prolific’ is set to arrive this summer, with the 15-track project having been largely completed years before Hussle’s death in 2019. The late California rapper’s Marathon Clothing brand Instagram account posted: “

The album reunites Rideaux and Hussle nearly a decade after their 2017 joint effort No Pressure. Production comes from several longtime collaborators who also worked on Hussle’s Grammy-nominated Victory Lap, including Mike & Keys, Mixed By Ali, Cyrus Taghipour and Larrance Dopson. The project’s first single, “Reckless,” debuted in February, followed by “Sacrifices,” featuring James Fauntleroy.
In the time since Hussle was fatally shot outside his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles in March 2019, only a handful of releases have featured his voice, including DJ Khaled’s “Higher” with John Legend and “What It Feels Like” with Jay-Z from the Judas and the Black Messiah soundtrack. His final solo-era single, “Racks in the Middle,” featuring Roddy Ricch and Hit-Boy, earned a posthumous Grammy Award for best rap performance.
Hussle’s brother, Samiel “Blacc Sam” Asghedom, had previously said the family has been selective about posthumous releases, explaining, “If Hussle didn’t actually do the verse or work with the person or put together the blueprint for the project, we not doing it.” He added that the collaborative effort with Rideaux was mostly complete before being polished with previously recorded material.
Asghedom went on to share a statement detailing the new project: “We’re proud to present Prolific, the collaborative project Nipsey created with Bino and brought to life sonically by Mixed By Ali. We are honored to be able to release the Prolific album in the exact way my brother envisioned it. This isn’t something that our team compiled together; this is the body of work Nipsey created with Bino top to bottom. He was very proud of this project, and we feel blessed to finally be able to share it with the world.”
